less than 80 cents a beer, have to keep expectations reasonable. for the price, this is probably to be expected, but i still feel like there is decent value in the case because the others were better than this. overall this doesnt need a lot of analytics, its just not very good. there is an almost english yeast profile that i noticed in the pale too, seems more exposed here without some malt support, weird in this style to me, like more malt and you could be close to an english mild, but without it, the yeast seems out of place in a beer that is otherwise distinctly american. the label says its hopped with cascade, citra, and lemon drop, which sounded to me like a cool combination with a little bit of everything, hoping for some bitter and spice from the cascade and a marriage of bright citrus and cream notes from the other two, but thats a dream, the reality is metallic, oddly fusel and cheap, and without much fruitiness to the hops at all, although there is some bitterness through most of it.

pennies through the whole thing, not at all as light as it should be for a session despite the yellow color, and not at all the kind of refreshing hop forward drinking i was hoping it would be.

the pils was good, the pale okay, but this is rough. Hands down the worst of the three of these i have tried so far, i sure hope the ipa i still have is better than this, a really weak offering, hopefully the worst in the case.
